Firefighter / paramedic Captain Sean Mast spent his teenage years hunting deer and wild hogs with the good ‘ol boys in the forests surrounding Apalachicola, fishing from a kayak on the lakes in Leon County, and duck hunting on Lakes Miccosukee and Jackson. After five years as a Tallahassee firefighter, he moved to Okaloosa County where he’s been working for the past ten years at Okaloosa Island Fire Department. On the Gulf Coast's white sand beaches, he began saltwater fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and the surrounding waters from boats, kayaks, and shark fishing from the shore. Whether he’s fishing on a boat, surfing on his paddle board, or spending time on the beach, the water is where Sean is most at home. Sean looks forward to extending his service of his community to our nation's veterans and their families.
